Hi, I’m John and making music is my hobby and more so, a passion. I’m at my most relaxed when I’ve got my hands on gear, or in a DAW, making random noises.

I’ve been playing around like this for well over ten years now, having first started producing in Logic Pro, then moving onto Ableton Live and Bitwig. I mix and master my own music – mixing in Cubase, mastering in Studio One.

A couple of years ago, I got the hardware bug, starting out with a Circuit Tracks, and moving on to Elektron boxes, the Digitakt and Digitone.

I make music on the go with my Dirtywave M8 tracker, and more recently on a Polyend Play+

I mostly listen to trance and techno, which inspire me to have a go at creating such tracks. Sometimes I go off on a tangent, and let my creative juices take me wherever they want to.

Beautiful Kavala in the north of Greece

I spend half of my year enjoying the seaside views in the lovely Kavala, Greece, and the other half enjoying the beautiful nature in my native Ireland, particularly that of the sunny South East.

During the day, I’m a physicist, working on Raman spectroscopy applications, Raman hardware and software, and web development, mostly with .Net. Have a look at my LinkedIn Profile.
